For a larger washing machine capacity for a family the options include:
- compact top loader washing machines with a 3kg load capacity and cold water input;
- compact front loader washing machines with a 4kg capacity featuring an inbuilt heating element for potential hot water washing.
As a family travelling with two small children we found the 3kg top loading machine to be large enough for our daily washing. Caravan washing machines can be wall mounted, installed neatly in the bathroom or in a cupboard.
The drying options include a collapsible, folding washing line – which holds a surprisingly good amount of washing and can be moved around for the sun or brought in out of the rain. If you have an awning, another option is the Easy Hang Clothes Line which is a removable stainless steel washing line that clips on to your awning – so neat!
