We are pleased to offer all customers the opportunity to upgrade existing battery systems, or install new battery systems, using the latest Lithium Ion battery technology.

Lithium Ion batteries are very different to existing common caravan/RV battery technology – which is usually AGM, GEL or Wet Lead Acid type batteries.

The biggest benefits of Lithium Ion batteries for your caravan are:

• an almost doubling the available capacity
• quicker recharge rates

With standard AGM/Gel/Lead Acid batteries, you can safely use about 50% of their capacity. E.g. a 100Ah battery gives you 50Ah of usable capacity. This is equal to a 5 Amp load (e.g compressor fridge) running for 10 hours (5A x 10H = 50Ah). A Lithium Ion battery pretty much doubles this, as you can use all of the available capacity without damaging the battery.

Lithium batteries require a special charging system. We have a range of options to cover all budgets including RedArc and Enerdrive brand systems.
